Usually the Semana Santa is something quite serious in Sevilla, it's a religious celebration that happens every year, lasts a week, and ends up during Easter with the Christ's resurrection. It basically consists in people specially dressed up for the occasion accompanying a richly decorated float with statues of Jesus or Mary in it while choirs play special "Semana Santa Music".
